Metro has always been everyone’s favorite companion when it comes to easy and cheap transportation. The well maintained Delhi Metro has changed the way one commutes on day-to-day basis. Although, travelling from Noida to major areas of Delhi has been quite easy but Greater Noida has waited for this as well. The Noida- Greater Noida Metro line has been the talk of the town from quite a long time now. The work is 80-90% completed till date and Greater Noida will experience its first metro ever in the year 2018. The project is being built for INR 5,303 crore which will have 21-stations in total where in 15 stations will be in Noida and the rest 6 will fall in Greater Noida.
Starting from Noida City Centre, the metro line will cover sectors like Sector 50 Noida, Sector 83 Noida, Knowledge Park 1 and 2, Parichowk and so on. With so many big companies and apartments in Noida expressway and so many colleges in Greater Noida, lots of people will be benefitted by this metro line. This will also increase the value of the residential as well as commercial projects in Noida expressway and Greater Noida. By the records, there is already 22 % of growth in rental values of apartments on the back of the upcoming metro connectivity.
Greater Noida is expected to have 3-5 lakhs new residents in the coming 5-7 years and with the upcoming metro connectivity, there will an improvement in the quality of life for people in that area.
